Scholarship from RBDGTC

Description: This scholarship is given by RBDGTC( Rao Bahaddur Dharma Pravartha Gubbi Thotadappa Charities) for brilliant and economically backward students for Under graduate and PG courses and  even for foreign studies.

1. Should belong to Veershaiva Lingayat community.
2. Parents should not  be a govt official
3. Excellence records in Academics


How to apply: Dates to get applications will be announced in major state newspapers and Applications have to collected  by hand from office mentioned above (RBDGTC). 


 Other: Financial aid of up to  25000 will provided from the charity. Most probably applications can be  obtained in the month of  June-July. So please keep updated yourself for better approach.

POST-MATRIC SCHOLARSHIPS FOR STUDENTS FROM SCHEDULED TRIBES

Wireless and Television Operators/ Sound Recording and Sound Engineering Motion Picture, Photography Film Direction/ Acting/ Screen-play/ writing. SCHOLARSHIPS TO STUDENTS FROM NON-HINDI SPEAKING STATES FOR STUDIES IN HINDI


Eligibility Criteria
Age : As applicable for admission to the respective classes

1. Passed X class/ Matriculation/ High school
2. Passed XII class of 10+2 pattern/ Intermediate/ pre University/ pre Degree
3. Passed BA/ BSc/ BCom (Pass or Honors) or equivalent
4. MA Hindi/ MLitt (Hindi)/ Pre PhD/ qualification leading to admission to PhD (Hindi) degree
Others Candidates whose mother tongue is not Hindi
Belong to any of non-Hindi speaking states/ UT (Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Gujarat, J&K, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashrta, Manipur, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Orissa, Punjab, Sikkim, Tamil Nadu, Tripura, West Bengal, Andaman & Nicobar, arunachal Pradesh, Chandigrah, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu, Lakshadweep, Mizoram and Pondicherry
  • Study in recognized institutions only

  • Secured 60% marks in qualifying examinations

Eligibility Criteria:
For IX & X class

The candidate should be

• a student in class IX and X
• student in government schools in each developmental block
For post matric to postgraduate

The candidate should

• have obtained 
60% or more in marks in science and commerce and 55% in humanities

• not have received any other merit scholarships/ stipend for source of study

• be studying in recognised institutions

• parents income from all source not exceeding Rs.1.00 lakhs per annum for all categories

+2 level/ pre-university/ pre-degree/ Intermediate level
12th Class of 10+2 pattern/ Intermediate/ Pre-university/ Pre-Degree – For award of scholarships in first year BA/ BSc/ BCom/ BArchchelogy etc.

12th Class of 10+2 pattern/ Intermediate/ Pre-university/ Pre-Degree – For award of scholarships in First year of Diploma/ Professional and Engineering studies/ Diploma in Hotel Management/ Diploma in Homeopathy/ BDS/ BTech/ MBBS
